Zoe-perry

Perry was born in Chicago to two actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. One of her first TV appearances were as Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed the role. Her parents, however, did not allow her to act until she was an adult because of the impact stress might affect their child. Perry acknowledged that she was not comfortable acting in high school. She began doing it to connect with new people during her time at Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. Perry had the opportunity to secure small TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent after she graduated. However, her homesickness led her back to California again where she began to work on stage. She and her mother starred on Broadway with her for the play The Other Place, in 2013. In 2015, she appeared alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry appeared in 9 episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, Perry starred in an appearance on ABC's political thriller Scandal with her father. In addition, she played her young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - an CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. Despite having a family connection to the character she received the role through an audition.
