Ina Garden is an American cookbook writer who has received Emmy Awards. She hosts the oldest Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. The show will run for 27 more seasons. Ina Garten began her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget papers. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual challenge of her job, but quickly lost the interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. Prior to selling the company, she spent an entire 18 years transforming it into the most successful shop. In the following years, numerous books were released and she also wrote columns for magazines. Another hit is the Food Network Television show. In addition, she sells a variety of products ranging from cooking supplies to equipment and storage containers. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself who has never gone to a cooking academy and has never worked in the kitchen. Ina is well-known for her easy method of cooking, and her effortless entertaining. Some of her most popular recipes include Skillet and Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese paired with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
