Pickler lived in a difficult environment. In order to leave an abusive partner, Pickler's mother left when she was barely 2 years old. Pickler was reunited with her mom in the year 1995 when she was appointed the custodian. However it did not take place as expected. Pickler's grandparents raised Pickler from age 12 to the age of adulthood. With the loss of her parents, Pickler was too busy caring for her kids.
