Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and performer. The majority of people recognize her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. But she is primarily a music lover. When she was nine years old of age, she began dabbling into music. As she grew to the age of 12 the music she was playing took an adolescent turn and she began to train professionally. At the age of 13 She began to write herself songs. Her first cover album was released 14 years after. There hasn't been a turning back since. Orrantia was raised in the USA but is of Hispanic heritage. Despite the fact that she only spoke English growing up and had never been to Mexico Orrantia feels extremely proud of her Hispanic origins. She hopes to protect it by creating Spanish songs, and also taking classes in the language. One of her efforts was an original Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the X Factor's inaugural season, which aired in summer the year 2011. Orrantia got the X Factor's four "yeses" to the judges in the Seattle live audition stage following getting selected based on her YouTube entry. Though she initially auditioned on her own in "Hollywood Week", she and three other female vocalists were put into an ensemble for the remainder in the selection process. They were eliminated during the fifth week in the live performances.
