Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American performer, actress and songwriter. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". She is mostly a musician. Music is the first passion she maintains; it is something she has dabbled into when she was just nine years old. At the age of 12 her music began to take an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. In 2013, she took on songwriting and produced her first album. It has been non-stop ever since. Orrantia is a native American and has Hispanic origins. She is a native of Hispanic roots even though she spoke English when she was a kid and her whole life was in the USA. She strives to preserve it by learning to speak Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. One of her attempts was the creation of a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first Season of The X Factor. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X Factor when she uploaded an YouTube audition video. She was awarded the four "yes" votes of the judge in the live stage in Seattle. Although she originally auditioned on her own in "Hollywood Week" She, along with three female performers were placed in an ensemble for the remainder in the selection process. They were eliminated in the 5th week during the live program.
